Introduction

The Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Construction and Management Program provides students with fundamental and professional knowledge in the planning, design, construction, operation and management of urban water supply, sewerage and drainage systems.

The program integrates water and wastewater treatment, pumping stations and water intake, water quality, urban drainage, water resources and environmental engineering with modern engineering tools such as GIS, modelling, applied informatics and Artificial Intelligence.

Through coursework, engineering design projects, laboratory and field activities, professional practice and a graduation thesis, students develop the knowledge and practical skills required to address current and emerging challenges in urban water infrastructure.
